The Womens Lifestyle Expo is an annual event that has grown from strength to strength since its creation by producer Sue Frost. Now in its fourth year, the event has grown from a one day event, into a fully fledged destination Expo over two days, attracting more than 8,000 visitors last year. This year’s event is on the 14th & 15th September 2012 at the Lake Kawana Community Centre from 9.00am – 4.00pm each day and is free entry for all attendees.
The Womens Lifestyle Expo is, at its heart, about creating a community for women, a destination for much needed information for women in need, a girls day out shopping and laughing and a day of learning and workshops.
With a strong emphasis on community and team, the ‘Red Team’, a volunteer group of more than 100 women and men are on hand to help with all aspects of this event, stepping in to help exhibitors where needed. The Expo encourages and supports buying local and supporting local business, all in the name of empowering each other as Women.
As well as over 100 exhibitors, the Expo will also feature free workshops with key note speakers such as Rachel Bermingham presenting on “Ingredients of Success” along with other workshops on personal growth and life skills, health, family, relationships, home and lifestyle. Jodie Nolan, Nadine Sullivan, Simone Leslie and Sharon Tan are just a few of the diverse range of key note speakers at the Expo.
There will also be a Pamper Room where women attending can relax and enjoy some well deserved time out and pampering from a range of treats on offer on the day. Plus, for the first time this year, there will also be an Art Show and Sale with the Coast’s most talented visual artists and photographers plus entertainment by local musicians. There is also a Food Court with refreshments and food available to take time out from the Expo. Bookings for complimentary Pamper Room and the free Workshops are essential on the day.
Producer Sue Frost said “The Womens Lifestyle Expo has become a destination event for the community on the Sunshine Coast, as well as attendees from Gympie and Brisbane, providing excellent exposure and growth to local businesses”
