Head Chef, Kieran Brown has come up with some delightful new additions to the menu which is proving to be a real hit with diners.
For entrees, the Chilli and Cheese Ciabatta Loaf or the BBQ Pork and Cashew Wantons with a herb salad and a lime sweet chilli sauce will warm you from the inside out. For the traditionalists, great winter choices are the Crumbed Lamb Brains with bacon, creamed mashed potato and gravy or the Soup of the Day which comes with a crusty bread roll.
The selection of mains is so wide and varied that you are probably going to find it difficult to choose. One of the vegetarian options that is proving popular is the Mushroom Arancini – homemade risotto balls freshly crumbed and fried and served with tomato chill jam and a garden salad.
Always a firm favourite on the mains menu is the homemade pies and there is a delectable chunky beef and mushroom pie with mashed potato and vegetables available this Winter. A new addition on the grill menu is an orange and mustard glazed veal cutlet served with chips and salad or vegetables. And of course all the favourites are on the menu including roast of the day, pasta, seafood and steaks meals.
