Senior Labor figure Wayne Swan visited the Sunshine Coast today (Aug 14) at the invitation of Bill Gissane, ALP candidate for Fisher and accompanied by Lucy Stanton (Wide Bay). Mr Swan discusses (in Mr Swan’s words) the proposed downgrade of services at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital and the parallels to what would happen federally upon a change of government.
