Upgrades for McCarthy Park in Woombye

• Safety fencing and a new refuse bin
• Relocation of site boulders
• Improvements to site drainage
• Planting to the open drain to improve bank stabilisation and park amenity.

Council has invested $78,000 to the landscape improvement works at McCarthy Park, of which Cr McKay contributed $53,000 from her discretionary funds.
The works commenced in late January and are scheduled to be completed by 28 March (weather permitting).
