For the next two days, 100 of the Sunshine Coast’s most accomplished student musicians will be on show at Immanuel Lutheran College as part of the 2012 Sunshine Coast Honours Wind Ensemble Program.
Hosted by Immanuel, the Years 4-12 students will work with Queensland Youth Orchestra Conductor David Law.
There were over 300 nominations by students from 19 Sunshine Coast schools for the coveted 100 positions.
Both days will finish with a concert for students and their families.
What: Sunshine Coast Honours Wind Ensemble Program (SCHWEP)
When: Students in Year 4 – 6 will attend on Friday, 19 October and students in
Year 8 – 12 will attend on Saturday, 20 October.
A concert will be held both days at 5.30pm.
