“Developing these relationships and providing key people with recommendations and ongoing support for their upcoming event, means they gain a better understanding of what our region has to offer, and provides support in their decision making process.”

The Sunshine Coast presence dominated the show with BESC being joined by Aussie World, The Events Centre, Kingfisher Bay Resort, Wicked Wolf Events, ASV Audiovisual and RACV Noosa Resort.
Business Events Sunshine Coast Manager Pippa McCreery said, “We have attended the Annual Executive Assistants Network Congress for the past two years because we find it is the most effective way to target this hard-to-reach audience, many of who are not aware of the free service we offer. We met EA’s and PA’s from companies such as Origin Energy and KPMG, who were excited to hear about the range of suitable offerings they could use not only for their annual conferences but also for executive retreats and other meetings their businesses hold throughout the year.”
The Executive Assistant Network Annual Congress is the most important educational conference for senior EAs and PAs in Australia. EAN is Australia’s only national membership organisation for corporate, government or public sector senior Executive Assistants and Personal Assistants, currently with some 3,500 members across the country.
Business Events Sunshine Coast (BESC) is a division of Sunshine Coast Destination Ltd (SCDL) whose responsibility is to market the Sunshine Coast as a viable, attractive and sustainable business events destination.
