[Video]Mayor Jamieson and Member for Kawana Jarrod Bleijie have welcomed more than 4000 paddlers and supporters at the opening ceremony of the 2014 Australian Dragon Boat Championships at Sunshine Coast Council’s Stockland Park, Lake Kawana on Tuesday, April 15.
The ceremony involved Monks, Taiko Drummers and dignitaries taking part in the ‘Dotting of the Eyes’ for the awakening of the Dragon.
