Sunbus has released the following statement in relation to the armed robbery of one of its buses last night.
A Sunbus driver has escaped unharmed after being robbed whilst operating a bus overnight in Bli Bli.
Queensland Police have charged two offenders in relation to the incident who will face court on Tuesday morning. The use of CCTV footage, supplied by Sunbus, has aided the investigation.
Sunbus do not condone any acts of violence towards drivers or passengers and investigate every reported incident as part of Sunbus operational procedures.
Sunbus would like to acknowledge the driver who by following all procedures in a professional manner, under difficult circumstances, has aided police in laying charges in such a short period of time.
