RACQ CareFlight Rescue crews have airlifted two patients from separate horse riding accidents within 30 minutes of each other this morning.
It is believed that a woman in her thirties suffered injuries to her shoulder and ribcage after she was thrown from her horse on a property near Woodford.
At 6.50am, the Sunshine Coast RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter transferred the woman from the nearby Woodford Showgrounds to the Royal Brisbane Hospital, after she was initially treated by the Queensland Ambulance Service at the scene.
She travelled in a stable condition.
