  • It will need air conditioners serviced – lots of them.
  • It will need printing services.
  • It will need stationery.
  • It will need cleaners.

And it will need much, much more.
The time for your business to be part of the action is now.
Tenders to supply these services are coming up very soon – not in a few years’ time – and Sunshine Coast Council wants local businesses to win as many of these tenders as possible.
And we will show you how to do it.
So we are reminding all businesses in the region to register their interest NOW to gain work on the new hospital.
“We are not just talking about the construction trades,” health, medical and education portfolio councillor Peter Cox said.
“While the project manager will need concreters, plumbers and electricians, they will also need businesses to register to supply office equipment, printing services, floor coverings, cleaning, stationery, people that service air conditioners, provide security and much more.”
Council has produced a video that explains how to register your business to tender for work on the hospital and is also conducting workshops to help businesses to obtain the necessary qualifications and skills.
“Businesses have to register to obtain information about works packages and the video shows how to do this step by step,” Cr Cox said.
The video and information about the Council supported workshops is available at www.business.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au
