Mooloolaba Business and Tourism is set to launch the first of its free live music events this Sunday 25 November at 1pm. The events will be held on the last Sunday of every month and are part of Mooloolaba Business and Tourism’s ongoing “Revitalisation Plan” for Mooloolaba.
Mooloolaba Events committee member Shane Hepburn said he was looking forward to seeing lots of families come out to enjoy the first of these free events, which are happening at Council designated sites at the northern end of The Esplanade on the corner of Venning St and at the southern end of The Esplanade on the corner of Brisbane Rd.
“We are really excited to see that so many quality local musicians are coming out to support us. The music scene on the Sunshine Coast has been waiting for something like this for some time now.
“With money tight at this time of year for most families, Mooloolaba Events are encouraging people to come down to one of their free events on the first and last Sunday’s of every month. The first of our Mooloolaba Family Fun Days have been a huge success and we are looking to continue to grow with each event” he said.
Mr Hepburn said artists could contact Lot 104 to book upcoming dates on 07 5326 1990.
