Money management expert Michelle House is sharing her expertise in personal budgeting through a series of free workshops titled ‘How To Create A Budget’.
Ms. House was featured on channel Seven’s ‘Sunrise’ and ‘Today, Tonight’, channel Nine’s ‘The Morning Show’ and ‘A Current Affair’, along with publications ‘Cosmopolitan’, ‘Cleo’, ‘Take 5’ and ‘The Courier Mail’ for her simple and no nonsense approach to budgeting and her advice and tips on how to manage money effectively. She said “Money does indeed make the world go around. What I also know for sure is that if you don’t hang on to it, protect it and understand it – you won’t have it”
Ms. House also created and designed the ‘Personal Budget Organiser’, a wallet designed to help track budget expenses each time you open it. Her original concept and design makes the allocation of funds easy and features summary cards, financial goal cards and blank expense category cards to tailor each PBO™ for each individuals unique needs.
Her free one hour workshops are being held at libraries across the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast and registration is essential to attend. With many families across Australia struggling to manage personal and household budgets, these workshops will give sound advice on how to manage finances more effectively. Ms. House said “If you are struggling to survive financially, lost your job or just know that you could be doing better come along and learn some tips on spending and saving”
Ms. House will be hosting her free ‘How To Create A Budget’ workshop at Caloundra Library on Saturday 20th October 2012 from 10.00am – 11.00am. Interested attendees should register by logging on to ‘Upcoming Events’ at www.secretbudget.net following the prompts.
