  • In One Day: to the music of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.
  • Dark Before Daylight: an impression of the timeless Swan Lake featuring classical pointe shoes and tutus.
  • Phrased Without Word: to the music of Arvo Pärt’s Spiegel in Spiegel.
  • Infinite Space: to the music of Mozart’s 27th Piano Concerto – this is Melbourne Ballet Company’s signature piece and is an uplifting celebration of hope and beauty.

Sunshine Coast Council will also officially launch their 2013 Theatre Season on the same night as Melbourne Ballet Company’s breathtaking production.
Running from March to October, the 2013 Theatre season delivers a diverse range of live performances and entertainment at venues across the coast, including the renowned Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow.
Australia’s biggest comedy festival returns to the coast in May and promises a big night with some of the world’s funniest comedians at three venues across the region.
Last year, the Roadshow hit the dirt track, with over 90 performances in over 65 Australian towns, covering a distance of more than 25,000kms, before taking the tour to the world, with seasons in Singapore, Hong Kong and India.
You can be a part of the hijinks when they roll into the Coast with live performances at:

  • Nambour Civic Centre on Friday 3 May at 7.30pm
  • The J Noosa on Saturday 4 May at 7.30pm
  • The Events Centre Caloundra on Wednesday 22 May at 8pm
