With Father’s day fast approaching, it’s time to celebrate the great role dads play at the SunnyKids, ‘My Dads Day Out’ family fun day at the Palmer Coolum resort on Sunday September 1 from 10-4pm.
CEO of SunnyKids Chris Turner said the event was a celebration of all dads across the Sunshine Coast and encouraged families to come out and enjoy a great day of fun at the Coast’s leading resort.
“We are thrilled to have this event at the iconic Palmer Coolum Resort, it’s going to be a great day out for the whole family and a wonderful way for dads to spend some quality time with their children.
“There will be loads of Big Boys Toys for dads to enjoy such as Classic and luxury cars, motorcycles, sporting goods and electrical gadgets as well as plenty of food stalls and a fully licenced bar. We’ll also have heaps of games and activities to keep the kids occupied while dads enjoy their special day,” Mr Turner said.
Other activities include market stalls, a licenced bar, fantastic food, live music and plenty of entertainment from local performers.
A giant ‘King For A Day’ Family Photography stand will also be showcased for families who want to take home a souvenir photo.

All profits raised will go directly to support local children’s charity SunnyKids who work tirelessly to break the intergenerational cycles of poverty and disadvantage, providing the hope and resilience to move forward, both as individuals and as a society.
