Several of our local tourism operators will head to Brisbane this weekend for the prestigious Queensland Tourism Awards which celebrates the outstanding achievements of tourism operators from across the state.
Tourism Noosa has several members that have entered the awards which are a submission and inspection based program. Members include Aussie World, Australia Zoo, Equathon Horse Riding, Narrows Escape Rainforest Retreat, Noosa Dreamboats, The Boathouse Floating Restaurant and The Long Apron Restaurant & Cooking School. Tourism Noosa is also an entrant for the Noosa Information Centre in the Visitor Information Services category.
Running for more than 25 years, the Queensland Tourism Awards are a great opportunity to publicly acknowledge and showcase operators in the industry.
General Manager for Tourism Noosa, Damien Massingham said “Entering the Queensland Tourism Awards in itself can be a rewarding exercise. Taking time out of your business and looking at how you operate and market it actually makes you look at your business in a different light. We wish all operators the best of luck in the awards”.
The Queensland Tourism Awards will be held on Friday 23rd November 2012 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
