LNP Candidates vow to fix the Bruce

• Caloundra Road to Sunshine Motorway – Stage 1 part construction ($200 million)
• Caboolture to Sunshine Motorway upgrade –  planning and design ($50 million)
• Caboolture to Caloundra upgrade including upgrade of the Pumicestone Road interchange and construction of a new interchange to replace intersections at Roys Road and Bells Creek Road  – ($122 million)

Further projects to be undertaken in the following six years are:

• Caloundra Road to Sunshine Motorway – Complete stage 1 construction ($141 million)
• Caloundra Road to Sunshine Motorway – Complete Stage 2 construction ($743 million)
• Maroochydore Road interchange upgrade – stage 1 ($187 million)
• Managed Motorways – Gateway Motorway to Caboolture ($105 million)

“Our plan is not talk, it’s real action to fix the Bruce Highway and for us to move quickly.  You can be assured that a Coalition government won’t play the blame game with the State Government – we will work with the LNP State Government to make this happen”, said Mr Brough.
“Local residents can be confident that we will honour our commitment because only the Coalition will bring the Federal Budget under control.  Labor’s record debt and deficits puts even their own inadequate commitment to the Bruce Highway at risk.
“Fixing the Bruce Highway is an integral part of the Coalition’s plan to build a strong, prosperous economy.”
