Hastings Street is well into preparation for its very lively part of the Noosa Jazz Festival. Tastings on Hastings is one of the many Festivals incredible sights as Hastings Street is closed to traffic for lunch and the Hastings Street restaurants take to their very famous street with some of their outstanding menus which are nothing short of absolutely mouth watering.
Friday 31st August is the day to gather your friends and treat yourselves to a spectacular day in the sun as Hastings Street comes alive with food and great jazz music in a once a year occasion. Tastings on Hastings sees a fusion of fabulous food from some of the best restaurants in all of Noosa, roaming buskers, and some of the cream of the festivals musicians who will delight you with their soulful sounds. The only catch is you have the difficult task of choosing from one of the 14 restaurants taking part.
For only $87.50 per person you will indulge in a 2-course menu (often with a dessert thrown in) plus a selection of wines and icy cold beers. Restaurants include Rococo, Lindoni’s, La Vida, Kaali Gourmet Indian, Berardo’s on the Beach or Zachary’s to name just a few. Or alternatively, book tickets to the Celebrity Chef Arenas being held by Gaston with celebrity chef James Phillis or the Rolling Dolmade under the guidance of co-owner Owen Exton (as Matt continues his recovery from a serious accident).
