National Parks, Sport and Recreation Minister Steve Dickson is visiting the Big Pineapple today to learn more about an industry proposal for a Sunshine Coast Great Rides Trail.
Mr Dickson will meet with biking industry groups, tourism operators and members of the local community as they discuss concepts for the180 kilometre multi-use trail to connect existing trails throughout the Sunshine Coast region.
“The Newman Government is committed to opening up Queensland’s National Parks for everyone to enjoy and this proposal is exactly the type of project we’d like to see put into action,” Mr Dickson said
