Young Sunshine Coast Man Graeme Ardern 36 has been diagnosed with a rare tumour which doctors believe is malignant. He has been advised that he can only obtain treatment in Sydney at a cost of $30,000 including airfares and accommodation. Graeme’s operation is to take place on 10th October, 2011 and he and wife Mandy and their son Dean need help from our community to get him there.
“Graeme has already suffered enough during his 36 years dealing with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at 11 and the now on going Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, not to mention all the other associated health issues. Through all of this, he still manages to be an amazing husband and a wonderful father to our 5 year old son, Dean. He does it all with a smile on his face and helps keep everyone spirits around high. I would be very appreciative if you could help us raise the $30,000 needed for Graeme’s operation on the rare nerve sheath tumour in his neck. Please help me, help my husband and my family”.
There are fundraising events this weekend locally on the Sunshine Coast to help raise money for Graeme’s much needed surgery:
