- New footpaths and a centre planted median strip, with improved pedestrian safety
- Over 100 new trees and 8000 plants – including a dedicated town Christmas Tree
- Lighting, new street furniture and an architecturally designed bus stop
- $200,000 of public art created by local artists Blair McNamara, John Fuller and Carl Holder (with a fourth by Bianca Beetson to be installed in 2013).
