The Caloundra Chamber of Commerce has joined forces with the Salvation Army to bring together a larger than life business event for the Christmas Appeal.
The Chamber is challenging Caloundra businesses to get out of bed slightly earlier than normal on the 1st of November and get a fresh perspective on e-marketing whilst contributing to a great cause.
Caloundra’s Salvation Army, Lieutenant Stuart Glover said he is so excited about partnering with the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce and having their input into organising the event.
“I am hoping to raise much needed funds, while raising awareness for The Salvation Army at the breakfast. There are many people that need our help over the Christmas period and this costs money. All funds raised at the event will stay in the local Caloundra area” said Mr Glover.
Australia’s most established and renowned online marketing and Google AdWords pioneer Ben Bradshaw is the guest speaker at the breakfast and will be giving businesses advice and ideas for marketing their business online.
Mr Bradshaw is the CEO and Founder of SponsoredLinX, Australia’s fastest growing search marketing company, and is a Google Premier SME Partner. SponsoredLinX continues to introduce and manage online marketing strategies with Google AdWords, Search Engine Optimisation and Social Media Marketing for small and medium businesses.
“It is great to be part of such a fantastic fundraiser event; I think that attendees will walk away learning how much of a positive impact Internet marketing can have on their business and its customers and apply these learnings to their own business” said Mr Bradshaw.
Caloundra Chamber of Commerce, Executive Officer Leanne Layfield said that response to the event is wonderful and businesses are really getting excited to hear Ben Bradshaw speak on e-marketing.
“Everyone in the room will gain a lot from the breakfast. It’s a terrific chance to come together as the business community, to hear from an expert on a very popular topic and also fundraise for a great cause” said Ms Layfield.
RSVP’s are essential and seats are filling fast.
