Sunshine Coast artists seeking opportunities for professional development are invited to apply for up to $2000 in funding in the current round of the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF).
RADF is a Queensland Government partnership through Arts Queensland and council to support local arts and culture.
Community Programs Portfolio Councillor Jenny McKay said RADF presented a valuable opportunity for Sunshine Coast artists.
“There are so many talented artists on the Coast and RADF helps them to develop their skills or projects in ways that may otherwise not be possible for them,” said Cr McKay.
“In previous rounds, successful applicants have used these grants to attend arts and cultural conferences, master classes and workshops and to develop some amazing projects and art pieces.
“To ensure your application is given the best possible opportunity for funding, be sure to discuss your project with our wonderful grants officers – they can help you develop your application.”
Applications for RADF close at 5pm Saturday 1 December 2012.
