The remaining minor works will take place in February 2013 and council has advised that the Stage Five works are not yet slated for commencement and will be subject to future funding considerations.
Stage Five works include formalised parking to the eastern side of David Low Way from Elizabeth Street to Birtwill Street, a new planted centre median strip along the David Low Way; street tree planting and minor footpath works.
Council has thanked Coolum’s traders and residents for their patience throughout construction, and Tuesday’s official opening will celebrate the completion of the entire Coolum Village Streetscape to date (Stages 1-4).
