“Since 2009, nearly $9 million has been invested in infrastructure including new Prep and Early Learning Centres, multipurpose courts, a sporting pavilion as well as a refurbished sports stadium, science, visual art and home economics facilities,” said Principal David Bliss.
“For all major projects we’ve used local contractors – builders, engineers, architects and a multitude of different trades. For this project, Core Architecture had the vision to design a visually spectacular but practical centre specific to our needs. This vision will be realised by building company Midsons Constructions Pty Ltd,” said Mr Bliss.
“The new $2.5 million music and performing arts centre has been designed and will be built to the highest specifications. It’s a teaching and learning facility that will be used on a daily basis and will allow students to hone their stagecraft to become proficient performers as well as behind the scenes operators of sound and lighting,” he said
“The project has a six month timeframe and Midsons will be onsite this week erecting temporary fencing with a view to commencing construction next week. Upon completion, Immanuel will have invested more than $11.3 million in major capital and minor new works which ultimately, is for the benefit of our students and families,” said Mr Bliss.
